Coming from a background of DIY and self promotion, Darren Eedens has built up a management and booking style from the ground up. His network through the entertainment industry spans genres, performers, and nations. With his vast network he is able to create opportunities, and bring people together.
This hard work and determination has found the acts he pushes all over Europe with such notable festivals as Cambridge Folk Festival, Muddy Roots Europe, Vikedal (NO), Black Deer, Americana UK, Folk Alliance International, Focus Wales, SXSW, Canadian Music Week, NXNE and many more.
Specialising in the Americana and roots world, he has done everything from managing venues, managing tours, sound, grant writing, tour booking and promotion, stage management and artist development.
Since 2009 Darren has been touring, booking and helping artists careers grow, forming Broken Banjo Bookings in 2016. With his boutique agency he brought many acts straight from the Nashville scene, and Canada to Europe, introducing them to the market and building their relationships with festivals and venues alike.
Having been on the ground, travelling the miles himself and with others, he knows exactly how to cater a management style to suit every artists needs.
